Meet The Team

Health Lore my why, my calling!

NIKITA WILBURN

FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HEALTH LORE COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Nikita Wilburn is a nurse, health coach, personal trainer, and founder of Health Lore Community Outreach, a nonprofit dedicated to intercepting premature deaths through nutrition, movement, and health education.
Her work is deeply personal.

Health Lore was founded with a vision to serve the community but just a few months later, that vision became her calling. Nikita unexpectedly lost her mother to hypertension and heart disease. She was only 15 years older than her… and she was found on the side of her bed, alone.

In the midst of grief, the questions became urgent: Did she know? Could it have been prevented? How many women are leaving here before their time without truly understanding their health or without someone there to advocate for them?

That moment changed everything.

What started as an idea became a movement. Nikita knew it was time to make the world stop to sound the alarm for women and families to take their health seriously, ask questions, and advocate not just for their health, but for their lives.

Through Health Lore, she now creates spaces where education meets real life empowering individuals with the knowledge, tools, and support to prevent chronic disease and live healthier, longer lives. From community programs and conferences to personalized coaching, her mission is clear: to turn awareness into action and ensure fewer families experience the kind of loss that reshaped hers.

Because this work isn’t just what she does, it’s why she does it.
